How Can I Save Myself?

In order to save myself, I must destroy the me I was told to be.
I must destroy the fearful me and build the courageous me,
I must destroy the ‘think small’ me and build the ‘think big’ me.

I must search and tread paths they told me people who look like me don’t .
I must work hard to learn, know and do big things they told me people from where I come don’t

I must stop believing that I’ve limits when I actually don’t,
I must destroy the old me and for a new me, I must build a new home,

To do this, I know where to begin,
I must begin building a new me from within,
because within me dwells a giant, waiting to be released.
