We Underestimate The Power of A Touch, A smile, A kind word, A listening ear… – Leo Buscaglia.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, why?

Haven’t we realized that nothing can replace the assurance of intimacy, care and love the touch by a loved one gives?

How often have you gotten it wrong that a material gift from a distance to someone in need of a human touch is welcome?

Have you forgotten the relief you felt when someone else gave you their time, their presence, a listening ear, a kind word and an honest compliment when you desperately needed the company of a real human being?

We should never forget that we are all human beings with a heart that needs the gentle touch of another heart to calm the storms we all experience occasionally.

The measure of the love and care we receive is equal to the measure we give.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
