We dream to give ourselves hope. It’s a world where many nightmarish things happen everyday to suggest that life is meaningless.
Is life really .meaningless?
No, it’s not. Those who dare to dream and are not afraid to pursue their dreams find the meaning of life.
How? The way to the realization of a dream is paved with failures and challenges. And everything else that makes seem hopeless and meaningless.
For the ‘non dreamers’, failure is their fate and final destination. But for dreamers and goal getters, failure inspire the curiosity to find out about the life on the opposite side of failure. So they dream on.
The dream of success lifts the determined person above challenges and hopelessness. It gives them the belief and the hope that if they persisted and worked hard enough, they would succeed.
As the dreamer persists, breaks down barriers and approaches success, they begin to find the true meaning of life.
What is it?
The meaning of life doesn’t exist on its own. We give meaning to life when we dream and work hard to live our dream lives.
Joseph Campbell summed it up beautifully in the following words;
“Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer.”
“We dream to give ourselves hope. To stop dreaming – well, that’s like saying you can never change your fate.” – Amy Tan.
