What does it take to be a champion? – Patty Berg.

It takes the decision to do five things,

without ceasing;

You must have a burning desire that comes second to none
except to the need to be a champion;

You must be as devoted as a mother,
complete dedication to your passion must be all that matters
wake up before the rooster does,

and go to bed only when the day’s work is done;

You must be determined to rise up when you fall,
crawl, do all it takes to keep moving forward,
and stop only when you have been crowned the champion;;

though life is a distraction,
full concentration on the goal crowns the champion,
and nothing else should matter until after the job is done;

Let the will to win be the air you breathe,
where doors are closed against you, your will to win, will make a way
through the dark labyrinth and open the door
for you, the true champion to enjoy the celebration.

.What does it take to be a champion? Desire, dedication, determination, concentration and the will to win. – Patty Berg.
