We’re all immortal beings
trapped in bodies as temporary beings,
imprisoned by our desires to live a temporary dream,
distracted from the substance of continuity
by the pursuit of a shadow
that has turned most of us into
beasts that live all for today and gone tomorrow’
condemned to the trash bin of history, to be remembered no more:
But we’re souls, immortal beings,
meant to be made stronger by pains and sufferings,
so that we could embody empathy and compassion;
emotions that ingrain loving without discrimination in our nature
and give us the nature of those glorious immortal beings
we were meant to be from the beginning.
