Many are consumed by thoughts about
the uncertainty of tomorrow and never about
using today to plant the tree and build the ark
that will provide shelter and safety when the vicissitudes of life
knock tomorrow;
little do they know
that when we take care of today, we take care of tomorrow
but when we’re negligent today, we fail to deepen those roots
that should prepare us sufficiently for the uncertainty of tomorrow
