Dont give to win an applause,
an applause is a temporary reward;
it lights up the spirit for seconds,
then it’s dark again when it’s gone:

choose to give without ceasing,
for although we’re many
who have in excess,
we’re few
who give to lift the less privileged,

it’s these few that still have light
after lights of many have gone out
and while most have homes in dark places,
these few have their homes in pleasant places.

“May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.” – J.R.R. Tolkien.
