“We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.” Ray Bradbury.
We are cups, constantly being filled with beautiful stuff,
unfortunately, many refuse to let the goodness out for fear of incurring a loss,
but little do they know, goodness left unshared,
becomes toxic in the cup and sends out a repulsive stench;
avoided by all good human hearts,
occasionally patronized by heartless gold-diggers.
But those who selflessly and frequently tip themselves over for others to drink of their goodness,
get refilled with more beautiful stuff of greatness;
they are cups of gold reserved for the red letter-day,
and given the special place, reserved for only the very best.
