If it, anything at all, doesn’t aid the advancement of your dream, then it’s not worth it.
And you would have to ask some very hard questions of your relationships if friends and family’ re not contributing to the actualization of your dream.
It is not being self-centered. It is living consciously of what you do, how you spend your time, where you are and who you spend your time with. It is living purposefully for yourself first and then be in a productive position to help others live a worthy life too.
You can’t give what you don’t have. If you’ re not happy, you can’t share happiness, if you don’t know what it means to smile, you can’t share a smile, if you’ re not living a life worthy to be admitted onto the level above just getting by, you wouldn’t help others find a worthy meaning to what real living is.
