Emily Dickinson – “Hope is the thing with feathers

You are wired to go through tough times and come out tougher.
So don’t be overwhelmed by whatever you are going through. right now. Don’t let that happen.

Take one day at a time. Steel yourself and go through tough times till tomorrow morning. No one knows what tomorrow morning will bring. If by tomorrow morning, things don’t change, don’t quit. Rather, wait for the next morning.

While waiting, work with your hands and your brain and, surround yourself with an aura of love. Foe love works the miraculous. Then have hope. While love is your comfort now, hope is your only strength right now

Emily Dickinson said, “Hope is the thing with feathers”….

That perches in the soul –

And sings the tune without the words –

And never stops – at all –
And sweetest – in the Gale – is heard –
And sore must be the storm,
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm –
I’ve heard it in the chillest land –
And on the strangest Sea –
Yet – never – in Extremity,
It asked a crumb – of me.”
So let love lead and have hope.
