A Defeat Is Victory Deferred But…

This is true only for the brave.

“A defeat to a brave man is only a victory deferred.”James Ellis.

What does it take to be brave? A perfect preparation.

A perfect preparation gives sufficient confidence and self-belief to make your first attempt. It is also what makes you believe that you can still do it after several failed attempts. A perfect preparation gives you a sense of invincibility. It is this sense of invincibility that makes you brave enough to work hard and believe that, though victory is deferred, it would be yours eventually.

So, never give up because you are defeated when you do but you are victorious when you don’t.

Perseverance! A similar adage our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team uses is you either win, or you learn.
